Help us find the world’s top 10 churches for men

  • Thumbs Up!Church for Men will be producing a video documentary featuring ten congregations that do an outstanding job attracting, retaining, motivating and transforming men.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. If you know of a church that’s doing great things with men, please send us an e-mail message with the church’s name and any contact info you may have.

    • We’re looking for churches of all sizes, denominations and traditions.
    • We will consider churches anywhere in the world. Have camera, will travel.
    • We’re seeking churches that do a good job reaching men through their regular programming – not necessarily through a men’s ministry program.
    • We’re looking for pastors who “get” men and who place a priority on their growth.
    • Churches that have experienced growth as a result of an intentional focus on men are particularly prized.

PARACHURCH ORGANIZATIONS. We are also planning to feature a couple of parachurch organizations that are doing outstanding work with men.

    • We are interested in groups that do ongoing direct discipleship work with men, rather than event-driven organizations.
    • An ideal organization would be one with a track record of helping men change their lives (and men who will say so on camera).

Please share this message with everyone you know. Good churches for men are hard to find, but we know they’re out there.

What is your time frame? What about house churches? We have one here that is doing a good job reaching ex-cons. I have a couple of other possibles, but need to talk to the pastors.

Try AR Bernard’s church: Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, NY He has a congregation of over 35,000 and often attracts more men than women

Gideons International has been a ministry that has utilized men talents to distribute god’s word and focuses on a common mission.  I am younger guy who has come to appreciate the work and the fellowship.

We have been around for a long time with little or no interest in building a strong Men’s Ministry.
Our Church has been a male Senior Pastor driven model. Interesting enough both Pastor’s wives lead Women’s Ministry which thrived at about 100 strong and Men’s Ministry was lead by a Lay Pastor and 30 men was a good meeting . Both Senior Pastors went to men’s event but where not active in leading Me’s Ministry.

Eventually Men’s Ministry went to zero men.

About four years ago one older man ask me to pray for God’s men. To stir our hearts and raise us up to  lead our Church. We are now an Elder driven model with seven spiritual Elder’s who ask me to lead men’s ministry. We have now 60 active men being lead by 14 men on  our Men’s Leadership Team.

We have our first all men worship night, our third straight mens retreat and a monthly men’s breakfast. Our model is the apprenticeship / discipleship model.

We are very excited about what God is doing with His Might Men of God.

Keeping men motivated in these day is difficult. Revealing to them that hey are apart of God bigger Story has stirred their hearts . Our mission connect men with men and connect men with God by being intensional and practicing His presence daily.
